In this article we’ll be showcasing some of our favorite activities, performances and highlights during our three day weekend camping experience with Toyota SoCal. So sit back, relax and strap on your seatbelt as we take a ride into the Temecula Balloon & Wine Festival with Toyota SoCal!
The Friday before the festival, Toyota SoCal dropped off a brand new 2019 Toyota Highlander Hybrid at our house. This incredible vehicle is loaded with generous safety features, innovative entertainment options, and is available with the best fuel economy by far thanks to it’s unique hybrid offering.
Although this is an SUV, we can honestly vouch that the three and a half hour drive was as smooth as can be. We also were able to fit all of our camping gear, giant tent, two mid-size suitcases, and plenty of smaller bags inside the Highlanders spacious backseat. There are two captain chairs in the front of the vehicle, two captain chairs for the passengers and a whole third row of comfortable seats in the back passenger area. The electric trunk door also had a push button, which made it convenient to load our heavier items such as our Queen blow up mattress. We definitely recommend this vehicle for awesome road trips!
Once we had arrived to the Temecula Valley Ballon & Wine Festival, we immediately checked into our pre-selected campsite that was arranged by Toyota SoCal. We quickly pitched our tent in less than five minutes, set up our table and chairs with drinks and snacks then headed to the major event.
Toyota SoCal has their very own VIP hospitality tent, which was the first area we found ourselves. They provided breakfast, lunch and dinner all three days of the celebration. We were then provided with wristbands and VIP passes which allowed us access to the main stages, VIP Hospitality tent, and Cabana Club area. In a total of only two days we watched some of the world’s best bands perform such as 3 Doors Down, Big & Rich, and Russell Dickerson.
In addition, they also provided us with an up close an personal meet and greet with Russell Dickerson, the man behind the hit song Blue Tacoma! The famous Blue Tacoma actually resides in the Toyota family set of trucks available!!
To finish off the evening we encountered such a magical experience with a Dine & Glow event where all the major sponsors showcased their giant hot air balloons in the moonlit sky including Toyota SoCal.
The event was nothing more than a success to say the least, and in the end we were told there was around 90,000 people sharing the same amazing feeling we carried with us all weekend. We are so excited about our Highlander this past weekend, we are actually thinking of possibly getting one! The Highlander was dependable, comfortable, and great on gas! Cheers to another wonderful year at the Temecula Balloon & Wine Festival, and here’s to the next one!
